Beer cup

We had a little excitement last night. A guy was walking around comparing car rental prices with a plastic cup of beer in his hand. The girl he rented a car from was going berserk over the beer in his hand (liability issue if he kills someone driving drunk). A gal next door told her to call security because one can not walk around the airport with open containers of alcohol. The guy comes up to the gal's counter. She asks the man if he had beer in the cup. She explains he can get arrested walking around with that and tosses it in the waste basket. She rents him a car and he returns the other one.

If you are curious, Yes we have to rent cars to people who reek of alcohol or stumbling around. We can suggest a cab if they can't walk (or just call security). If they meet our age, ability to pay, insurance requirements, and possess a valid license, we legally must give them a car (even if we think they are thieves or terrorists). Our discrimination rights are limited.

If anyone reading this objects to us renting to drunks, then march up to the capitol building and demand laws be changed. Our hands are tied up. Post later. Genie out.
